Can’t write off bad arrest as just a mistake

Jacob Michael Bolton had just tucked in his 8-month-old daughter on a June summer night when police came to his Pinckney home to arrest him on a drug-related charge. They handcuffed him and took him to the Livingston County Jail, where he spent the night. He was not released until his arraignment the next morning, when a magistrate set him free on a $10,000 personal bond.
