Thank you for your article on the closing of M-36 this summer (“M-36 project sparks flurry of action,” Jan. 28). Unfortunately, you only touched on the tip of the iceberg. I believe Hamburg Township and Pinckney will be devastated by this closure and unable to recover for years to come.
Well, we’re only one month into 2009, but it’s already been a humdinger of a year. The country has a new president, the Detroit Lions have a new coach, Illinois has a new governor, and there are still about six companies left in Michigan that haven’t gone out of business yet.
