Thank you for helping Cub Scouts

The Cub Scout Day Camp program, held in June at the Livingston Conservation & Sports Association in Brighton Township, was staffed exclusively by volunteers, and without those volunteers, the camp would not have been possible.

Golden years far too pricey

My husband has worked 50 years and just retired at 72. We do not have company insurance for health or prescriptions. We do have Medicare, but it will not cover us for all our health needs. Our income will be spent for our health.

Pharmacy workers deserve respect

A few days ago, I went to the new Rite-Aid Pharmacy in Pinckney to refill a prescription from the former Pinckney Pharmacy. After dropping it off, instead of leaving and picking it up later, I decided to wander around the store to get acquainted with the layout. While sitting in the waiting area for my name to be called, I heard a lot of negative comments, mostly regarding having to wait too long before the prescription was ready to be picked up.
