*Carnival August 19-21 at Page Field behind the Barnard Community Center, east side of Barnard Street north of Clinton Street just east of downtown.

*Annual Melon Run August 19 at 6:15pm at Howell City Park

*Classic Car Show August 21 from noon - 3pm at 611 E. Grand River Ave. in the Republic Bank parking lot downtown

*Disc Dog Show at Howell City Park starting at 11am August 21; runs into the afternoon

*Other highlights: A Knights of Columbus pancake breakfast August 20-21 at the melon tent, entertainment daily in the courthouse amphitheater and arts and crafts august 20-21. Evening bingo tent returns to the festival this year as well, August 19-21.

Come and be a part of the 20th Annual Kiwanis Classic Car Show & Cruise on Sunday, August 14th, 2005. Registration starts at noon at the Brighton City Hall Parking Lot. Jugding will begin at 4 pm and the cruise will begin at 7 pm. Space is limited to 200. There will be a DJ on site during the show and following the cruise there will be a free concert with Big Pinky and the Joint Effort Band. Plaques will be given out as awards. Dash plaques for all!!
